ABOUT

Built to end
Agent Amnesia.

We built Nexus Prime because we were tired of watching great engineers waste hours re-explaining their architecture to an AI that had forgotten everything overnight.

THE ORIGIN

We were running Claude Code and Cursor on a complex monorepo — 400k lines, 8 services, 3 years of accumulated decisions. Every morning, the agents woke up knowing nothing. Re-read the architecture. Re-learn the conventions. Re-understand why the auth layer worked the way it did.

We ran a token audit. 96.8% of our input tokens were going to re-reading context that hadn't changed. The remaining 3.2% was actual code generation. We were paying for an AI that spent nearly all its time studying rather than building.

We built a prototype in a weekend: a local SQLite store, a simple MCP server, and a tool that told the agent what it already knew before the session started. Token spend dropped 60% in the first week. We turned it into Nexus Prime.

The insight was simple: agents don't need to be smarter. They need to remember. That's a solved problem in software — it just hadn't been applied to coding agents. One npm install. Local SQLite. Ed25519 license keys. Zero cloud.

HOW WE BUILD
01

Local-first, always

Your data lives on your machine. We will never move memory to the cloud without your explicit decision. Local-first is an architectural commitment, not a marketing claim.

02

One install. No setup tax.

The hardest part of developer tools is the first 5 minutes. We obsess over install-to-working time. If it takes more than 60 seconds, we fix it.

03

Specific numbers or nothing

We don't say "faster" — we say "7.8× token compression." We don't say "saves time" — we say "99.4% reduction in re-reads." Every claim has a number or we don't make it.

04

Built from India, for the world

We're a small team building serious infrastructure. The best developer tools are built by people who use them daily. We use Nexus Prime on every project we ship.

We're hiring.

We're looking for engineers who care about developer experience, performance, and local-first software. If you use Nexus Prime and want to work on it full-time, reach out.
